Roy Olsen
Title: Vice President, Facilities

Roy Olsen is vice president of facilities for Delaware North Companies, a global leader in hospitality and food service. With more than $2 billion in annual revenue and 55,000 employees, it is one of the largest privately held companies in the world.

Olsen provides leadership and management of the entire facilities function for the organization’s worldwide operations. In this role, Olsen oversees the company’s dozens of construction and renovation projects each year, including restaurants and retail stores in airports and sports facilities, hotels and casinos.

Olsen, who has been in his current role since April 2011, was previously the director of facilities for Delaware North and has been with the company since 2000, when he joined as a senior project manager. He has nearly 30 years of construction management experience – which includes oversight of several multimillion dollar projects – and knowledge of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards.

He received an associate’s degree from the State University of New York at Morrisville and a bachelor’s degree from Southern California University. He is accredited in the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED standards.
